The Glasi Wine Series comprises a Bordeaux wine glass, Burgundy wine glass, Chardonnay wine glass, and a wine decanter.
The wine glasses and decanter are individually made of lead-free crystal glass. The wine glass bowls are mouth-blown and the stem and base are handcrafted. The decanter and matching stopper are mouth-blown. Designed to enhance the characteristics of particular wine varietals, the wine glasses feature simple yet dramatic lines with perfectly balanced stems and stable bases.
The superior quality of these premium wine glasses and decanter is evident in their clarity, brilliance, timbre and finish. Handcrafted in Switzerland by Glasi Hergiswil since 1817.
Bordeaux Wine Glasses
Our handcrafted bordeaux wine glasses are ideal for full-bodied, complex red wines that are high in alcohol and tannins. Their generous size allows the wine to aerate in the glass and the bouquet to develop fully. The shape of the rim directs the flow of the wine to the front palate to enhance sweetness, thus accentuating fruit while softening bitter tannins.

Burgundy Wine Glasses

Wine Decanter
Our wine decanter features a long neck with a slightly widened opening for easy, drip-less wine decanting and has a broad base to expose a greater surface area that allows the wine to aerate and release flavors and aromas, which enhance the attributes of your wine. Decanting wines (particularly old wines) a few moments before serving ensures clarity and true color while preventing any sediment from interfering with the wine-drinking experience. Decanting young wines gives them a chance to open up and develop.
Each wine decanter is individually made of lead-free crystal glass: both the decanter and the stopper are mouth-blown (note: a matching glass stopper is included with each decanter). The superior quality of these premium decanters is evident in their clarity, brilliance, timbre and finish.
